Kid’s Work

We welcome all children to our services and invite everyone to come and try our age-appropriate groups which are held during the 10:30am Sunday service.

  • 0-2

    meets in the Rainbow room off the main hall where a wide variety of toys, games and bible stories and worship music ensure the smallest members of our family are happy, occupied and have their own opportunity to be close to God.

  • 3-Reception

    This group meet in the lounge where we seek to nurture their budding faith with bible stories, drama, prayer and praise, craft, games and refreshments.

  • Years 1 - 4

    We meet in the hall where we have plenty of room for lots of fun with energetic games, refreshments, memory verse games, worship, prayer, craft, quizzes, DVDs and drama. Most importantly we have time to meet with God and grow in our developing relationship with Him.

  • Years 5 - 6

    This older children’s group meets in the Upper Room which is, of course, upstairs! As well as enjoying similar activities to other groups Laserlights also engage in lively discussions coming out of the Doug Horley ‘God Stuff’ Foundation Course, Buck Denver’s ‘What’s in the Bible’ DVD series and Powerpack Ministries’ teaching series.

Mr Phil TV

Here’s a link to Mr Phil TV (producer of Veggie tales) which is a great resource for families with pre-school and primary aged children. When you sign up it’s free for the first 14 days and then about £4/month. You could use these resources during the week.

The Wingfeather Saga

Why not try “The Wingfeather Saga” books by Andrew Peterson – there’s also live readings available on social media at the moment via links on the page.

Faith in Kids

Check out ‘Faith in Kids’. They have podcasts for both kids and parents to listen to which help develop and grow faith in your kids and in you as parents.

Together at Home

During the Easter Period you could make use of some amazing resources created by a lady called Jess who has formed ‘together at home ‘ in response to families being at home at this time. Do check out her website for more ideas.


Spring Harvest

The week after Easter, Spring Harvest are airing their meetings on Youtube for anyone to participate. This will include kids activities too. Do watch this clip which has further info on how to access.
