Monday – The Meeting Place is open for Coffee and Play 10am-12noon
Wednesday – Bumps and Babies is on 11am-12:45pm
Thursday – No Little Treasures or Noah’s Ark
Friday – No Rhyme Time but The Meeting Place is open for Coffee and Play 10am-12noon
All groups will be back on as usual the week beginning Monday 25th February

Supporting You & Your Family
At Bookham Baptist Children’s Centre we offer kind, caring and professional support to you and your family. We know that being a parent can be challenging at times. It can also be loads of fun. We want to help make sure the good times outweigh the tough ones. Our groups, activities, courses and information services are designed to help make parenting as easy and enjoyable as possible.
We serve families and children in the Bookham, Effingham, Fetcham and surrounding area.

Oasis at Bookham Baptist Church takes place every 2nd Friday of the month, between 2-4.30pm. Admission is free, but donations are welcomed to cover the costs of treatments and materials. There is a warm welcome with refreshments and home-made cakes and a chocolate fountain; a place to sit and chat with friends and a chance to get a hand, head or neck and shoulder massage or to get your nails done, whilst the Oasis team keep an eye on the children with crafts and games. The Meeting Place
The Meeting Place is a charitable organisation which pioneers and manages a number of ‘hubs’ which benefit the local community.
Coffee Shop & Community Hub
Every Monday, Friday & Saturday | 10am-12noon
A child-friendly space to catch up with friends. You’ll find tea, coffee, kid’s snacks & delicious cakes handmade by The Grange. It is also a Community Hub offering advice and support with monthly drop in sessions with, CAP, Wellers Headley Solicitors and other organisations.

Mondays 7:30pm-9pm | at Easwick Road Church
Tuesdays 10-11:30am | at Bookham Baptist Church
Want to improve your English? Practise reading, writing and speaking English with our friendly team of TEFL trained teachers and assistants. £20 for 6 lessons.
Pop-up Sling Sessions
Are you interested in using a sling but unsure where to start? Having trouble getting comfortable with a carrier you already own?
Come along to The Meeting Place Coffee Shop & Community Hub for our Pop-up Sling Sessions. Qualified sling consultants will help you try out a range of slings and carriers. The dates of our next sessions will be:

MiLK Feeding Support Group
1st & 3rd Wednesdays of each month | 11am-12:45pm
Are you pregnant or do you have a brand new baby on your hands?
Come along to this new group with NCT breastfeeding counsellors on hand to offer information and support. If you need to talk to someone about any aspect of feeding including weaning and bottle feeding, then come and see us at our MiLK feeding support group. Just drop in!
Child Health Clinics
Unfortunately Central Surrey Health have made the decision to stop the Bookham Child Health Clinic. From Tuesday 6th November you will be able to weigh your baby at Leatherhead Trinity Children’s Centre on Tuesdays 9.30-11.30am for self-weigh session, where health staff will be available for advice if needed.

Come along to ETHOS drop in where you can get 1:1 support to get on the right track and move forward into new opportunities. Give us a call or just turn up on the second Wednesday morning of each month 9.30-11.30am. The sessions will take place on 12th September, 10th October, 14th November and 12th December.

Rainbow Playgroup / PreSchool
Rainbow Playgroup is a Pre-School situated in the heart of Bookham village in the hall of Bookham Baptist Church. We are a non-profit making organisation hosted by the church for the purpose of being a great resource to families in our local community. We work closely with Bookham Baptist Children’s Centre and Noah’s Ark Toddler group so that we can provide continuity for families from birth to school entry. We are open Mon – Fri from 9.15 – 12.15 and we welcome children from 2 years. For more information please see the Rainbow website
Christians Against Poverty
The charity is a fast-paced, growing organisation whose vision is to answer the national problem of debt in the UK by having at least one CAP Debt Centre operating in every major town and city. Bookham Baptist Church and a number of other churches have partnered with CAP to offer debt counselling in Mole Valley. The service we offer is completely free. Cobham Area Foodbank We don’t think anyone in our community should have to face going hungry. That’s why we provide three days’ nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to local people who are referred to us in crisis. We are part of a nationwide network of foodbanks, supported by The Trussell Trust, working to combat poverty and hunger across the UK.
