Thursday 3rd August 11am-1pm Messy Play and Picnic Bookham Baptist Children’s Centre with St Nicolas Church. Bring your own picnic. Messy Play activities for 0-5s in the St Nic’s Pastoral Centre Garden (entrance down alley way next to Carolina’s Coffee Shop in Church Road, or through the back of the church yard). £1 (donation). Wear clothes you don’t mind getting mucky! No booking necessary. Just turn up, bring your friends and have fun!

Ride & /or Stride 9th September 2017

Most counties in England have an annual ‘Ride & Stride’, on the second Saturday in September (9th September) to raise money for church restoration and repair. The idea is that cyclists (and walkers) are given a list of participating churches in their area. They map out their own route to visit churches by bike or on foot, and then get friends to sponsor them for a fixed amount per church visited. The money that is collected is divided into two.…
